The free version is the real app. Students never need to pay to save and review words.
No account, no ads, no streaks and no pressure. Words stay on the student’s iPhone unless they turn on iCloud sync. Translation runs on the device and works offline.

- Ask students to save three words a week from signs, menus or apps they use. Start the next lesson with their words.
- Reading homework
- Students read an article in Safari and share new words to Spotword. The app keeps each word with its sentence.

- Students can export their words as CSV or for Anki, so you can build a class list from what they really met.
